Custom Demo & Dismantling was selected to complete the full demolition and site preparation of a former Fatz Café in Orangeburg, SC, paving the way for a new LongHorn Steakhouse. This comprehensive project involved the demolition of the existing building, removal of the parking lot, and clearing and grubbing of the entire site, providing a clean, build-ready footprint for the next phase of development.

Once the site was prepped and utilities were properly disconnected, our team began the structural demolition using a fleet of heavy machinery to safely dismantle the building. During this process, we carefully sorted and salvaged materials such as steel, concrete, asphalt, and metals, ensuring they were transported to approved recycling facilities for repurposing in future construction applications. This commitment to material recovery and sustainability helped minimize waste and maximize environmental value.

After the building removal, we proceeded with the parking lot demolition, which included breaking up and hauling off asphalt and concrete, as well as removing underlying base materials. The project concluded with a full site clearing and grubbing, eliminating all vegetation, debris, and surface obstructions to leave the property clean, level, and ready for construction.
